Stress is being studied by many disciplines because it is a concept that threatens human life, but at the same time helps to survive. On the other hand, creativity has become one of the essential elements to be able to differentiate in an individual and organizational sense in today's competitive world. The aim of this study is to question the effects of organizational stress on success-oriented institutions on the creativity of employees. The research was carried out with three most successful educational institutions in İzmir. The reason for choosing these institutions is their success of university entrance exams. Survey method and questionnaire technique were utilized in the aim of this study. To measure organizational stress a 15-item “Work Stress Scale” developed by House and colleagues and to measure creativity, a 24-item creativity scale, which the European Commission used within the “Lifelong Learning Program” were used. The results of the research conducted on 200 teachers show that there is a significant relationship between organizational stress and creativity.
